Shirley R. Berry

Shirley R. Berry, age 73, of Corryton, passed away on August 12, 2017. She retired from AT&T after many years of service. Shirley was a member of Rocky Dale Baptist Church and lifetime member of the “Rocky Dale Hot Tamale Girls”. Preceded in death by beloved husband of 49 years, Donald R. Berry; parents, Viola and Lee Russell; sisters, Irene Revell and Lucille Murphy; brother, Donald Russell; and father-in-law, Elmer Berry. Survived by daughters, Donna Beeler and husband Mark and Kim Berry-Lavoie and husband Robert; 2 beloved grandchildren, Adeline and Nathan; sisters, Ava Dean and Jean Hicks; brother, Robert Russell; special niece, Debbie Ashworth and husband Lane; mother-in-law, Lorene Berry; and many other beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws. Family and friends will meet 1:45pm, Wednesday, at Clapps Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service at 2:00pm, with Rev. Bill Berry officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
