Shirley Ann Cabage Greene

Shirley Ann Cabage Greene, 85, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, surrounded by family at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born on July 15, 1939, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her life was filled with family, friends, children, the church community and travel. She filled our lives with loving-kindness, gentleness and patience. Her smile and her touch impacted everyone she met until the very end.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Lee Greene: her sister, Wanda Cabage Lively and her great grandson, Jacob Henry Roth.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Rodney) Yeatts and Bob (Tami) Greene: grandchildren, Kaitlin (Jon) Roth, Christian (Kristen) Yeatts, and Landen Greene; great grandchildren, Luke and Everett Roth; brother Kent (Carolyn) Cabage and brother-in-law, Daniel (Linda) Greene.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00-6:00PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 6:00PM, Pastor Victor Lee officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45AM at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Friday, July 11, 2025 for an 11:00AM interment.
