Shirley A. Bauswell

Shirley A. Bauswell, age 83, passed away on July 30, 2024. Shirley was a member of the New Beverly Baptist Church and worked at St. Mary's Hospital for over 30 years in housekeeping. She is preceded in death by daughter, Sheila Sanders Picquet; son, Dwayne Sanders; mother, Evelyn Phillips; father, Harley Phillips; brothers, Jimmy Phillips, Johnny Phillips, and Michael Phillips; husbands, Harold Sanders, Bobby Bauswell and Andy Brewer. She is survived by son-in-Law, Jamie Picquet; daughter-in-Law, Lisa Sanders; grandchildren, Zach Yearwood (Melissa), Madison Palmer (Tres), Baylor Sanders (Lexi), Josh Picquet (Christina) and Jerra Picquet (Cory); great-grandchildren, Waylen Palmer, Cohen Sanders, Amelia Picquet, Will White and Emily White; siblings, Jackie Phillips.

Shirley was loved and admired by anyone who knew her. She never met a stranger and helped anyone she met have a better day. Her love of life, family and her many dogs and cats she had was never ending.

The family will hold a celebration of Shirley's good life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's name may be made out to the East TN Humane Society.
