Shirley Ann Welch

Shirley Ann (Brown) Welch, age 86, of Halls passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at UT Medical Center. Preceded in death by her husband Wayne Welch; parents Roy and Emma Brown; grandson Dennis E. Welch Jr.; siblings Iva Reynolds and Roy E. Brown Jr.; great-grandson Joziah Martin. She will be greatly missed by her children Dennis E. Welch Sr. (Nancy Groover), Roger L. Welch (Patricia L.), Linda S. Carr; grandchildren Stacy Martin (Chris Flynn), Matthew Welch (Nicole), Amanda D. Carr; great-grandchildren Colin Welch, Austin Martin, Noah Welch, Keira Welch, Isabella Martin; sisters Ruth Brady and Margaret Noe. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 4th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with the funeral at 7:00 pm officiated by Rev. Doug Fielden. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am at Ft. Sumter Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses of UT Medical Center.
