Shirley Ann Blankenship Mcginnis

Shirley Ann Blankenship McGinnis, age 81, of Corryton, passed away peacefully at home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2022. She was a member of Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She loved being a servant to others. She is preceded in death by father, Ernest Blankenship; mother, Ina Blankenship; brothers, Coy Blankenship and Billy Ray Blankenship; brother-in-law, John Paul McGinnis; sister-in-law, Sarah McGinnis; special uncle, Cecil Blankenship; father-in-law, John Tildan McGinnis; mother-in-law, Molissie McGinnis. She is survived by her husband, William Earl McGinnis; children, Charlotte and Larry Avens and Doug and Pam McGinnis; grandchildren, Lori Hensley (David), Amber Greer (Kevin), Gabe McGinnis (Raysha), Cameron McGinnis (Chelsey); great grandchildren, Owen Hensley, Stella Hensley, Hannah Greer, Kyler Greer, Tegan McGinnis; brother, Bobby Joe and Kathy Blankenship; sisters-in-law, Rema Blankenship, Wanda McGinnis, and Ella Blankenship; special aunt, Willie Faye Blankenship; brother-in-law, Gerald McGinnis. Family will receive friends for visitation at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 5:00pm until time of funeral services at 7:00pm with Rev. Doug McGinnis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Cleveland Cemetery, 193 Locust Grove Rd, Washburn, TN 37888, for an 11:00am graveside service.
