Sherrill Howerton

Sherrill Howerton, age 89, passed away on Monday, May 28th 2018. He was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church since 1970. He was an avid bass fisherman and competed in and won numerous tournaments. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Howerton; son, Donnie Howerton; daughter, Janice Williams; daughter-in-law, Kathy Howerton; parents, Clyde and Junie Howerton; siblings Virgil Howerton, L.C. Howerton, Earl Howerton and JoAnn Howerton. He is survived and will be deeply missed by son, Tim Howerton (Sue); brother, Jay Howerton (Robetta); sister, Dolly Huskey from Roanoke, Virginia; son-in-law, Richard Williams; grandchildren, Josh Howerton (Rebecca), Jennifer McDonald (Robert), Tiffany Howerton and Brandy Howerton; great-grandchildren, Liam McDonald, Audrey McDonald, Joshua Howerton, Madelynn Howerton and Aviah Howerton; special friends from the Krystals Breakfast Club. The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Wednesday, May 30th at 11am-12pm. Family and friends will gather at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Wednesday, May 30th at 12:45pm for a 1pm interment with Rev. Richard Spencer officiating.
