Shelby Jean Folden

Folden, Shelby Jean- Knoxville (previously Corryton)- age 86, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 31, 2023. Shelby was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church, Corryton, TN. She was retired from CVS in Corryton. She is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Della Parker Folden; brothers, Clarence and Elmer Folden; and niece Terri Gardner. She is survived by nephews Chris (Laurie), Tom (Mary), and Jim Folden; nieces Kathy (Simon) Barefoot and Jane (Steve) Monday; special cousin, June (Everett) Weaver; and many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00pm, officiated by Rev. Jerry Vittatoe.
