Sheila Joy Swaggerty

Sheila Joy Swaggerty, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 66. She was a woman of Baptist faith.

Sheila was the most loving person. She cared deeply for her family and showed that love every single day. She had the best sense of humor and loved to joke. Her laughter and warmth filled every room she entered. While we will miss her tremendously, we find peace knowing she is with the Lord and reunited with her father and mother. She was preceded in death by her father, James Croley; her mother, Milda Croley; her sister, Vickie; her brother, Christopher; and her baby sister. She is survived by her sister, Connie (John) Ashford; her sons, Jason and Chris (Dallas) Swaggerty; her daughter, Jama (Ahmad) Rancher; her grandchildren, Shala (Tyler) Johnson,Ahmadd, Dalyn (Averi), Ahzyah, Ahmya, John, Jamill, Shawn (Belle), Brady, Avery, Austin, Treigh, Demi, and Emma; and her great-grandchildren, Luna, Genesis, Ada, Navi, Millie, Haven, and Haisley. Sheila’s love, faith, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Friends and family will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 11:30am officiated by Zachary Witt. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
