Sharon Yvonne (White) McDaniel

Sharon Yvonne (White) McDaniel went to be with Jesus late Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023, at Blount Memorial Hospital after a 41 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  Sharon was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and member of North Hills Baptist Church.  She studied nursing at Knoxville College, was a talented seamstress, prolific Tole painter, advocate for Americans with Disabilities, had a razor sharp sense of humor, adored by many, and brought light, joy, and abundance of laughter into this world, despite her chronic pain.

Preceded in death by father, Charles "Tog" White and siblings, Rod White and Debra (White) Dotson. Survivors: daughter, Jennifer (McDaniel) Lipson, and son-in-law, Evan Lipson; grandchildren: Buster Lashier and Magic Lipson; mother, Frances White; siblings: Vicki Bundren, Terresa (& Tony) Neely, Charles White II, and Robert (& Kim) White; special cousins: Eugene Reed and Dennis (& Candace) Smith. Many loving nieces and nephews! 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 5:oopm to 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm, officated by Pastor Kevin Gibson. Family and friends will meet on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 12:30pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel to go in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00pm interment.
