Sharon Lee Smith

Smith, Sharon Lee, age 64 of Andersonville, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. She was a member of Texas Valley Baptist Church and also attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Bertha Cox; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J.E. and Nell Smith; brother-in-law, Marshall Smith. Survived by husband of 47 years, Carroll Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jason Ryder; son, Johnny Smith; grandchildren, Jake and Ella Ryder; brothers, David Cox of Chester, Illinois, Dennis Cox of Colorado; brother-in-law, Gary Smith; special sister-in-law, Wanda Hutchison; lifelong friend, Norma McCurry; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Berney Hutchison officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 1:15 pm Sunday and proceed to Smith Family Cemetery at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for 2:00 pm interment. Pallbearers: Jason Ryder, Allen Smith, Gary Smith, Daryl Lucas, Mark Johnson, and Tyler Warwick Honorary pallbearer: Wayne Smith. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
