Shane Austin Gibson

Shane Austin Gibson, age 32, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2026.

Shane enjoyed video games with his children, Tennessee Football, the Washington Redskins, time at the park with his girls, being silly, and having dance parties in the living room. He loved food, family and his girls more than anything in the world. Shane worked at Machined Products in Karns.

Preceded in death by father, Jackie Gibson; father-in-law, James Brooks; grandparents, James and Shirley Gibson, and Samuel Pressley; special cousin, Allen Ward; brother-in-law, A.J. Brooks.

Survived by wife, Robin Brooks-Gibson, whom he has been with since the age of 15; daughters, Adalynn and Graylee Gibson; nieces he raised as his own, Aliyana and Gabriella Clayton; mother, Elizabeth Abouelella; sister, Kayla Gibson (Justin); brothers, Cordel and Chaz Hodge; aunt and uncle, Crystal and Mark Hodge; best friend, Alex Baird; lots of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 20, 2026. from 5:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:00pm with Pastor John Sellers officiating.
