Scotty Ray Mcclain

Scotty McClain, age, 82 of Powell, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord, November 3, 2022. Scotty had a passion and love for racing and all of his friends. He also enjoyed building motors and a fan of the Tennessee Vols. Scotty was preceded in death by his parents, A. C. and Rose McClain; sisters, Dolly (John) Morgan, Pauly (Marshall) Brookshire and Linda Douglas; brother, Melvin McClain; son, Rodney Hewitt. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karin McClain; daughter and son in law, Melanie and Mark Keith; grandchildren, Dustin and Travis Hewitt, Ashley and Kelley Schostek, Savannah Hodge, Anthony Keith and Haley Fowler and many great grandchildren that he dearly loved; brother and sister-in­ law, Howard and Jeanette McClain; brother-in-law, Reeford Douglas, Devoted nephews, Mark (Stacy) Douglas, Dewayne Douglas. With many other loved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM with Reverend Mark Keith officiating. Family and friends will meet by 12:30 AM Monday, November 7, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Halls Chapel and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for an 1:00 PM graveside service.
