Savannah Grace Copeland, 13, passed away tragically on October 22, 2024. Born at Park West in Knoxville, TN on September 3, 2011, Savannah was the cherished daughter of Michael and Amanda Copeland, and her beautiful smile lit up the room. She loved her family, she loved her friends, and she loved art. Savannah attended Powell Middle School and was a talented student as well as an accomplished athlete—excelling in gymnastics, karate, and cheerleading. She wanted to go to UT and study forensic anthropology. She enjoyed scary stories, drawing, and pop music. Savannah and her family have been longtime members of the Powell United Methodist Church.
Savannah is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Amanda Copeland; brother Britton Burchell and twin brother Kasey Copeland; great-grandfather Robert Baker; grandparents Barbara Copeland, Shirley Patrick, George and Sidney Copeland; Aunt Laurie Hunley (Paul) and Uncle Scott Copeland (Laura); cousins Chris and April Hunley. Extended family includes Alicia Anderson and Allen Burchell.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Wayne Patrick and grandmother, Sharon Patrick.
Savannah will be forever missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.
