Sarah Emily Walker passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. She left a legacy through her children, grandchildren, and friends. A true legacy of hope, forgiveness, love, and generosity of 93 years. Her selfless hours of caregiving for others was a true picture of her character.
Her quick wit and spunky personality often lead to her being know as “spicy”. She served in strength and support of her husband, Lou Walker, as a navy wife for 21 years while having the honor of raising their six children. The love and dedication she had for her family was shown through her grace and love.
Sarah had a passion for sewing, gardening, shopping, and volunteering at church- especially when making peanut brittle or chocolate covered strawberries. She loved completing Crossword Puzzles, Word Finds, and enjoyed her many trips to McKay’s Bookstore. Her high standard of perfectionism was her driving force that set her apart from others.
Sarah Walker was a woman full of integrity, grit, and sacrifice. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of anyone who knew her. She completed her mission here on earth and is being rewarded for her dedication of life to her precious Lord and Savior.
Mom, mamaw, cousin, and friend, fly high till we see you again! We love you.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred C. Jones and Martha Jones; husband, Louis T. Walker; and sons, Michael and Donald Walker.
She is survived by her children, Robert Walker, Ann Dominguez, Susan Loveday (Kenny) and Sandra Walker; grandkids, Derek Walker, Tiffany Walker, Christian Walker, Ashley Walker, Kendra Loveday, Kelsey Loveday, Manny Dominguez, Sarah Hunt (Ethan), Sarah Dominguez, Lyndan Walker (Dara Jade); great grandchild, Quill Collins; cousin Lynn Moore (Ann).
