Sandra Preston Nelson

Sandra  Preston Nelson, age 73, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 5, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Emerald Avenue Methodist Church. She worked at SunTrust Bank for over 30 years. Preceded in death by parents; Charles and Wilma Preston. Survived by husband; Douglas E. Nelson, children; Douglas Charles (Tabitha) Nelson, Grandchildren; Preston and Jaxson Nelson, sister; Myra Preston, stepchildren; Steve Nelson and Terri Marbut of Alabama. Friends and family will meet at 1:45pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023 for a graveside service at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery. Officiated by Rev. Bruce Gaylon.
