Sandra Ann Howerton Joslin

Sandra Anne Howerton Joslin, age 77, Powell, TN passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Knoxville.

Sandra was self-employed as a commercial and residential real estate agent. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sandra and her husband, John, built a business that help a lot of people. They treated everyone with kindness and respect.

She is preceded in death by husband, John Daniel Joslin; mother, Helen Howerton; father, Clayton Howerton; siblings, Janis Sharp, Polly Jordan, Barbara Britton, Lynda Howerton, Carol Rowe, Ed Howerton, Bruce Howerton and Paul Howerton.

She is survived by her children, Jenny Rose Lemus (Kennedy) and John Isacc Joslin; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Rose Lemus; sisters, Marjorie Struzinski and Ada Pratt; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will meet on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 12:45pm at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm graveside service officiated by Pastor Tim Turley.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital (formerly known as East TN Children’s Hospital) in honor of Sandra.
