Samuel David King, age 70, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2026, at his home in Sevier County.
Born May 14, 1956, in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, Sam grew up on the family farm in Solway, Tennessee. He retired from his positions at both UPS and Ethra.
Sam was a lifelong fan of NHRA and NASCAR and loved traveling to races with his friends.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Marshall, and Ruby King.
He is survived by his sisters, Diane King, Alice Cardwell (David), and Sherry King; nephew David Cardwell; niece Jennifer Houser (Joe); and multiple great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
