Ruth L. Moore

Ruth Moore, age 80 of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Ruth had a strong work ethic and was employed with CVS Caremark Distribution Center where she worked for the past 45 years. Spending time with her grandchildren and reading was what she enjoyed the most. Nanny was so important and very much loved and cherished by her family. Ruth was preceded in death by her mother, Lorine Lovell; and children, Connie Weaver Gilliam, Kathrine Weaver Pickell, and Terry Weaver. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Griffith; grandchildren, Michele Griffith, Billie (Andreas) Kuhnert, Morgan Hooks, Brandon Pickell, Alex Weaver, Daniel Weaver, and Jordyn Gilliam; and great grandchildren, Griffin Smith, Fritz Kuhnert, Noah Pickell, Charlotte Pickell, Lila Pickell, Ella Hooks, and Tripp Hooks. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00 pm, Rev. Jonathan Tharpe officiating.
