Ruth Lucile "Lucy" Hein

Ruth Lucile “Lucy” Hein, age 91, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024. She was born October 19, 1932 to the late, James and Dorothy Carr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Karl “Jack” Hein; sister, Eleanore Campbell; children, Charles Miller and Sherrell Miller; Survivors, son, Houston Miller; step-son, John C. Hein; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and twin great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Lucy worked in the banking industry for over twenty-five years before she and Jack moved from Chicago, Illinois to Knoxville, Tennessee over twenty-five years ago. She then worked at J.C. Penney until her retirement. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Faithway Missionary Baptist Church, 4402 Crippen Road, Knoxville, TN, with a Memorial Service following at 4:00 PM with Pastor Rick Graves officiating.
