Ruth "Dolly" Record

Ruth Record, “Dolly”, age 78, of Knoxville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bueford Record; mother, father, and several siblings. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Mary Ann) Record and Tony (Joy) Record; step-daughter, Melissa Benedict of Junction City, KY; grandchildren, Amanda Record, Jordan (James) White, Rebecca Record, Kendell (Jacob) McMahan, and Briannah Varner Record; step-grandsons, Kaelan (Amanda) Benedict, and Levi Benedict; greatgrandchildren, 6 boys and 6 girls; sister-in-law, Barbara Compton of Danville, KY; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express our gratitude to their cousin, Donna Robbins, for helping with Ruth’s healthcare. The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 10am-12pm. There will be a 12pm service with Rev. Wesley Pursiful officiating, with a procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery to follow. Pallbearers will be James White, Jacob McMahan, Keith Gideon, Doug Strange, and Zack Osborne.
