Ruth Almeda Bruner, born 18 April 1937, passed away peacefully at her home.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, James Reuben Bruner (Bud); father, Rufus Massengill; mother, Roxie Almeda Massengill; sisters, Louise, Gola May, Sharon; brothers, David and Charles (Shorty).
She is survived by her children, James (Jr.) and wife Lois, Darrell and wife Sandi, Patty, Joyce, Donald, Doug; sister, Beverly Varner; and by numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.
The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 4:00pm – 5:00pm, with a 5:00pm service to follow, Buck Wamack officiating. Family and friends will then meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 1:00pm to go in procession to Zion Hill Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service.
