Ruby Leora (Baker) Searcy

Ruby Leora (Baker) Searcy, age 81 of Heiskell, TN.  After a two year battle with cancer, Jesus took her by the hand and led her home at 9:30pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2025.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and former member of Freeway Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Searcy; daughter, Andrea Garner; son Andy Garner; parents, Wilfred and Eva Baker; brothers, John Baker, Howard Baker and a sister, Betty Williams.

Ruby is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Johnny Piacitelli; grandchildren, Shane and Salena Garner, Elijah and Brady Piacitelli, Danielle, Tyler, Rome, Memphis and Ayla Garner; great-grandchildren, Renee, Paxton, Elliot, Theo, Ashlynn, Logan and Carter Garner.

A special "Thank you" to the staff at Tennessee Cancer Specialists who was always so kind and to Dr. Fentel and Dr. "O" and staff at Tennova North Medical Center who was so compassionate on our frequent visits.

A celebration of life and interment service will be held at a later date.
