Ruby Lee Jones

Ruby Jones, age 79 of Knoxville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2024 with her family by her side. Ruby formerly pastored Victory Tabernacle Church and loved the Lord. She was a retired substitute teacher for the Knoxville School Systems at Ridgedale Elementary School.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sylvia Frye; and husband, Billy Arthur Jones.

Ruby is survived by her sons, Bobby Jones, Billy Ray Jones, Steven Edward Jones, Tyler Jones; daughter, Angela Rodgers; brothers, Tommy Frye, and Charles Frye, as well as several grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 5:00-7:00Pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow, Rev. Roy Kelly officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Wednesday October 23, 2024 at New Gray Cemetery, 2724 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921 for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
