Ruby Blanch Dunsmore

Ruby Blanch Duncan Dunsmore, age 71, of Knoxville, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was a life long Christian. The world lost a precious wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Ruby was a sweet and gentle soul; her smile will be missed. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by parents, Emert and Elvira Duncan; sister, Eula Pearl; and brother, Troy. Survived by husband, Bobby Dunsmore; children, Jerry (Debbie) Dunsmore, Amy (Robbie) Nicely; grandson, Zachary Nicely; brother, Clyde (Billie) Duncan; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to express a special thank you to UT Hospice and her caregivers, Sue, Glenda, Char-Char, and Carolyn, for their special care. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National MS Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163, 1-800-344-4867. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for 11:00 am interment. Pallbearers will be Zachary Nicely, Scott Dunsmore, Derek Dunsmore, Dwight Killion, Barry Killion, Taylor Dunsmore, and Darrell Cupp. Honorary pallbearers will be David Duncan, Lans Duncan, and Sonny McMillan.
