Roy Edward Southerland

Roy Edward Southerland, age 66, passed away on April 23, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Roy sung gospel music with his brother for many years in the Knoxville area.  He is preceded in death by his son, Shane Southerland, his parents, Charles & Betty Southerland and nephews, Charlie Reed & Darren Southerland.  Roy is survived by his wife, Mona Ingram Southerland. Roy & Mona would have celebrated their 48 year wedding anniversary in June. He is also survived by his son, Jonathan Southerland (Jennifer) and cherished granddaughter Jada. Brother Mike Southerland (Carol) & sister Becky Reed. Special Uncle & Aunt, Ross & Janie Southerland. Brother & Sister in laws, Wesley (Sharon) Ingram, Pamela Witt & Jean Rader along with several nieces & nephews.  The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 pm on Saturday, May 31 at Redemption Harvest Church, 7824 Old Maynardville Pike in Halls, service beginning at 5:00 pm with Rev. Jody Darden officiating.
