Roy Lynn Hankins

Roy Lynn Hankins, age 95, of Knoxville. Passed away peacefully at his home in the early hours of Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Roy was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church and a member of the Plumber and Pipe Fitters Local #102. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bertha Hankins; brothers, Vernon, Bun, Toad and Huston; sisters, Teola Clark, Billie Denney, Frances Frazier; son, Eugene Hankins and daughter, Theresa Smith. Roy is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Edith Jones Hankins; son and daughter in law, Roy Hankins, Jr. and Susan; daughter and son in law, Linda and Robert Bunn; grandchildren, Kristie, Justin, Amanda; several great grandchildren; sister, Betty Kennedy of Toledo, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, July 21, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel.
