Roy "Chip" Baker

Roy Ernest "Chip" Baker, of Knoxville, TN, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  He was 53.

Chip is preceded in death by his father, Gary Baker; grandparents, Bob and Ruth Greenwood; and by his grandmother, Pat Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tammy; stepdaughter, Olivia Williams; son, Ryan Baker; mother, Becky Hollingsworth and stepfather, Roger Hollingsworth; and the Staff of North Knoxville Medical Center Emergency Department; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM.  Chip will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Woodlawn Cemetery (4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920) at 10:00 AM.  All are invited to attend.
