Roy Charles Cassady

Roy Charles Cassady, age 87, of Knoxville passed away Saturday June 27, 2015 at Tennova Residential Hospice. He was a member of Saint Andrews United Methodist Church and Navy Veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by father Luther Cassady; mother Nola Johnson Cassady Davis; and brother Glen Cassady. Survived by wife of 61 years Jean Cassady; son Sam Cassady and wife Cindy; grandchildren Benjamin Cassady and wife Brittney and Seth Cassady and girlfriend Shelby; and several great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Habitat for Humanity. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM, Monday, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Gary Capps officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
