Rosalee Elliott

Rosalee Elliott age 77, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born on October 27, 1948 in Big Stone Gap, VA., to the late Logan and Luvenia Seymore. In addition to her parents, Rosalee was also preceded in death by her brothers, Don Seymore and Charles Seymore; grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and her brother-in-law, Mike Parrott.

Rosalee is survived by her sons, Steve (Kyra) Elliott and Brian Elliott; grandsons, Brady Elliott and Deryk Elliott; sisters, Mary Jane (Bob) Slagle and Doris Seymore, niece and nephew who Rosalee shared a special bond with, Bobbie and Daniel Wolfe, great niece and nephew, Macy and Wesley Wolfe, and special friends, Robert and Margaret Elliott.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM officiated by Rev. Barry Reed. Friends and family will meet Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 1:45 PM at McKinney Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery (Rogersville, TN.) for a 2:00 PM graveside service officiated by Rev. Jerry Wayne Lawson. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Sacred Ground Hospice or a charity of your choice in Rosalee’s honor.
