Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Wyatt, age 74, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023, after a brief illness. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished grandfather. Ronnie served his country in the Army from 1967 to 1969 as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne division. He earned the parachutist badge and was an expert marksman. He was a 50-year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #102, ultimately serving as president and business manager. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and engaging in friendly poker games with his friends. He loved the Vols and Nascar races. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcie Wyatt, parents, Tommy and Billie Wyatt, as well as his sisters, Betty Harrell, and Ella Pugh, and his brother, David Wyatt. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Linda O’Neil Wyatt, his daughter and son-in-law, Jillie and Daniel Cheatham, and his grandsons, Jonah and Conner Cheatham. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home in Powell, TN. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM. Burial will be Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 8:30 AM, at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway.
