With deep sorrow but with faith in God’s plan, my brother Ronald Carl Tolliver, 75, of Knoxville, TN. passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026.
He served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Navy where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Afterwards, he went to work for the Southern Railway where he retired after 30 years of loyal service. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Willie U. Tolliver of Knoxville, TN. He is survived by his loving brother Allen (Lisa) Maples of Talbott, TN, niece Carrie (Travis) Cobb of Chattanooga, TN, step niece Heather (Brett) Smith of Saint Marys, GA, and special cousin Gary Johnson of Dandridge, TN Services by Mynatt Funeral Home of Fountain City with Rev. Brian Rhodes officiating were on January 15, with burial services on January 16, at Hansard Chapel Church in Union County.
