Ronald McPhetridge

Ronald (Ron) McPhetridge, age 76, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024. A longtime resident of Halls, graduate of Holston High School Class of 1966 and attended East Tn State University. Owned and operated HiWay Materials until retirement. Of the Baptist faith. An avid UT football fan, he and his friend Mike enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and spent many hours on Norris Lake.Preceded in death by parents Hollis and Hazel McPhetridge, survived by son Scott and wife Robbyn, daughters Amanda McPhetridge and Midori McPhetridge , grandchildren Dustin, Hunter and Wyatt McPhetridge, Ava, Isabel and Nolan Brummerstedt and long time companion Vickie Barb. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2024 at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service, Dr. James Robertson officiating.
