Ronald “Reasonable Ron” Earl Lewelling
March 26, 1952 – March 18, 2026
Ronald “Reasonable Ron” Earl Lewelling, age 73, departed this life on March 18, 2026. Ronnie was a well-known and beloved figure in his community. Ronnie owned and operated Reasonable Ron’s Tires for over 40 years, building not only a successful business but a lasting legacy. Known as “the best place in town to take a leak”—a testament to the camaraderie he created for everyone who walked through his doors.
He was an avid motorcyclist who had a deep love for riding his Harley-Davidson and participating in charity rides supporting local causes. In his later years, Ronnie developed a passion for hot rods and vintage cars. He was also a devoted animal lover, opening his home and heart to many cats and dogs throughout his life.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Ed Lewelling and Ruth Lewelling Edwards; his beloved stepfather, Samuel Edwards; his brother, Tommy Lewelling; his brother-in-law, Robert Underwood; and his nephews, Chris and Scott Underwood.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara Underwood; his daughter, Ronnah Lewelling McClure; his granddaughters, Latavia “Sha” Daniels and Keileigh McClure; and his great-granddaughter, Marleigh Daniels. He is also survived by his great niece, Christy Underwood, and great nephew, Christian Underwood, along with numerous great-great nieces and nephews: Jon, Brian, Brandon, Christyn, Catelynn, CJ, and Cambdom.
Ronnie leaves behind a host of friends, employees, and loyal customers. His dear friends Bill Taylor, Robert Maples, Carson Muncey, and Jerry Collins.
We want to express gratitude for David and Wina Maier for caring so greatly for Ronnie during his fight against cancer!
