Ronald Michael Lawson, 73, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on December 22, 2023, in his hometown. Ron, as he was affectionately known, was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was born on April 6, 1950, in Knoxville.

Ronald is survived by his son Michael Lawson (Alethea Lawson), daughter Kelly Lawson (Ronnie Adams), and daughter Jenna Darnbush (Chris Darnbush). He was a proud grandfather to Andruw Lawson (Samantha), Gage Campbell, Zarley Lawson, CJ Darnbush, and Tatum Darnbush. Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife Debbie Lawson, parents Ernest and Mildred Lawson, and sister Judy Lawson.

Ronald served in the Air Force from 1969 to 1974, where he displayed great dedication and commitment. His military associations were an important part of his life.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 27th, at 3:00pm at Berry Highland West cemetery. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and bid farewell to Ronald.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Young-Williams Animal Shelter in Ron's name. Contributions made in his memory will support a cause that was dear to his heart.

Ronald Lawson will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of love, devotion, and service will forever be cherished.
