Ronald Wade Hensley

Ronald Wade Hensley age 69, of Corryton, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Ronnie was saved in 1984 by the blood of Jesus Christ. He loved our Lord and his family with all his being. He was an active member of Highland Springs Baptist Church. He served his Country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, JC and Velma Hensley, and sisters, Wanda Lusk and Brenda Sue Hurst. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda Gale Hensley “Smooch”, son, Ronald “Dusty” Hensley, Jr., daughter, Misty “Puddin” Hensley, grandsons: Ronald “Wade” Hensley III, Nathaniel “Nate” Hensley, Hayden Hensley, Levi Hensley and Roman “Mousie” Hensley; brothers: Ray, Steve and Ricky; sisters, Linda and Debbie, special long-time friends, Kevin Yates, Armando Rodriguez, Holbert Bailey, Mark Scates, and Roger Bault; and many church members that he considered family. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, immediately followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Pastor Joe Bailey, Jr. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Hwy) on Friday, August 9, 2024, for a 10:00 am interment.
