Ronald G. Waugh

Ronald G Waugh, age 68 of Powell/ Maynardville passed away on February 20, 2023. Ron was of the Baptist faith and a graduate of Powell High School. He worked for 35+ years at the Knox County Highway Department, Sheriff’s Department and School system. He was a resource officer at Gibbs High School and Corryton Elementary. He loved his kids dearly. Preceded in death by parents; Lawrence “Cob” Waugh and Frances Roberts Waugh, sister; Judy Waugh Asbury. Survived by wife of 50 years; Kim Lansdell Waugh, daughter; Leslie (Brian) Atkins, grandchildren; Bridget, Brandon and Brayden Atkins. Brother; Larry (Norma) Waugh. He is also survived by many loving members of his extended family and friends. Receiving of friends will be at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Saturday, February 25th from 12-1PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Philip King. Family and friends will then go in procession to Bell's Campground for a graveside service with Rev.
