Rogers B Smith Jr

Rogers Burchelle Smith, Jr., age 76, of Knoxville, TN, gained his angel wings on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Rogers loved to work on cars and fishing. He was a Marine veteran.

Preceded in death by parents, Rogers Smith, Sr. and Ruth Smith; brother, J.D. Smith; sister, Rogina Smith

Survived by wife, Ann Smith; children, Tammy (Kenny) Comerford, Amber (Scott) McMillan, Rogers (Leah) Smith III ; sisters Helen (Don) Widby and Evelyn (Gene) Gibson; sister-in-law, Sherry Smith; stepchildren, Ashley Grigsby, Amy (Charles) Zemp and Chris Zemp; grandchildren, Rogers Smith IV, Eli, Theo, Chloe, Angel, Autumn, Alyssa, Alexis, Alex, Lexi; many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr. Timothy Patru and Becky Haynes for their amazing care.

The family is to receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. On Tuesday, May 16, 2023  friends and family will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel by 11:30 AM for a procession escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders to East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Hwy) for a 12:30 PM graveside service officiated by Rev.
