Robert Miller Lumley Sr.

Robert Miller Lumley Sr., age 90, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 18, 2023. Formally from Winston-Salem, NC and Hernando, FL. A Korean War Veteran with the rank of 1^st Lieutenant, US Air Force. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and master’s degrees from Lehigh University and Rutgers University. Electrical engineer for Western Electric. He enjoyed spending time working on antique cars and driving them in parades. He was preceded in death by beloved parents Mathlan and Lillian Lumley, brother Mathlan “Bub” Lumley Jr., and sister Linda Bryant. He is survived by loving wife Nancy Jones Lumley, daughter Karen Weimann and husband Kenny Weimann, grandchildren Allison, K.C., and Christopher, son Robert Lumley Jr., and wife Clare Lumley, grandchildren Mathlan and Elizabeth.
