Robert Scott Johnson, II, age 30, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
Rob’s passing was both sudden and tragic.
Some people simply exist, and then there are those who truly live. He was undeniably the latter.
He lived life to the fullest, unapologetically and completely on his own terms. He never worried much about fitting into anyone else's expectations because he knew exactly who he was. He chased adventure, embraced every moment, and made memories that will be told and retold for years to come.
His sense of humor was one of his greatest gifts. He could make a room erupt in laughter with a perfectly timed joke, a mischievous grin, or one of his unforgettable stories. Even on difficult days, he had a way of reminding everyone not to take life too seriously.
More importantly, he had one of the biggest hearts anyone could ever know. If someone needed help, he was there without hesitation. Whether it was giving his time, sharing what he had, or simply showing up when it mattered most, he never expected anything in return. His generosity wasn't something he talked about. It was simply who he was.
He was deeply loved by countless family members, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. The number of lives he touched is impossible to measure, but the love he leaves behind speaks for itself. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel like family, and those who knew him will forever carry pieces of his laughter, kindness, and fearless spirit with them.
His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fill, but his legacy is one of love, loyalty, laughter, and living life without regrets. The world is a little quieter without his jokes, a little less adventurous without his spirit, and a little dimmer without his smile.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that he lived exactly as he wanted—with passion, courage, generosity, and an unforgettable sense of humor. If he could leave us with one final lesson, it would likely be to love deeply, laugh often, help others whenever you can, and never waste a single day.
He will be missed beyond measure, remembered forever, and loved always.
