Robert Jack Stokes

Robert Jack Stokes, age 83 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 1:05 PM at Courtyards Senior Living. He was a member of Hoitt Avenue Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran, and retired as a truck driver from Carolina Freight. Preceded in death by his precious wife of 64 years, Iva Spears Stokes, parents, H.O. and Lucille Stokes. Survived by daughter and son-in-law; Kim & Bob Freeman, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and Peggy Rouse, fiancée and constant companion. The family would like to extend a special “Thank you” to Sam & Wanda Cox (AKA Mom & Dad), the amazing staff at Courtyards Senior Living. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00 noon Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at noon, Rev. Doyle Flatford officiating.
