Robert J. "Bob" Holloway

Robert J. “Bob” Holloway, 71, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Bob’s whole Life was centered around loving the Lord Jesus Christ and sharing that love with others. He spent the majority of his life studying the word of God with his extensive library of over 3,000 books and over a thousand e-titles. Bob’s greatest joy was talking to other people about Jesus. His other loves of his life were his wife, Rhonda of 38 years, and his two dogs, Keisha and Callie.

He was an avid University of Tennessee fan. Bob also enjoyed playing golf and fishing.

Bob was a loving husband, brother, brother- in-law, and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his brother, Sam Holloway; his sisters, Teresa Berry, Shirley Mullins (Dave), and Barbara Lowe; and he loved all of his nephews, nieces and his great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Hazel Holloway; his beloved brother, Rick Holloway; his in-laws, Ronald and Mary Jones and his brother-in law, John Lowe.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 25 at Beech Grove Baptist Church, 1519 Topside Rd., Louisville Tennessee 37777. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park 21674 Monroe Rd., Damascus, Virginia 24236.
