Robert Edward Lee

Robert Edward Lee, born October 24, 1948, passed away September 3, 2022. He was a 1968 graduate of Rule High School. Bob lettered in football for 6 years at Rule High. A TN announcer once said that Bob was the smallest tackle he had ever seen, weighing in at only 138lbs. Preceded in death by wife Kathrine Lee, parents Eugene P. Lee and Anna Lou Lee, brother Jim Lee, sisters Wilma Pressley (Ron) and Ann Roberts (Gary), loving pets Popey, Miss Peanut, and Mr. Peanut. Survived by brother Samuel W. Lee (Georgia), Sherrod Lee (Mary), special nephews Michael Miller and Tony Garland, loving pet Duchess. Special thank you to friends Amanda and Kathy and to the Alcoa Firemen who helped Bob many times. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow. Rev. Joe Lee and brother-in-law Ronald Pressley will officiate. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Friday, September 9, 2022, at Hopewell Spring Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment with military honors.
