Robert Peter Babick

Robert Babick, age 86, of Powell, TN, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Robert retired from the Department of Navy as the Director of The Naval Fuel Depot, Jacksonville, FL. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of The Moose. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Babich; brother, Michael Babich; sister, Helen Manteufel. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Shirley Babick; sons, Robert P. (Ann) Babick Jr., William Sean (Traci) Babick and Philip Steven (Peggi) Babick; daughters, Leah (Scott) Boman and Heather (Anthony) Mitchell; grandchildren, Josie, Michael, Savannah, Sarah, Bobby III, Katie, Nicholas, Katarina and Carly; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Mark Kilbourne will be officiating. Family and friends will meet by 12:45 PM, on Monday, at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service.
