Robert Peter Babick

Robert Babick, age 86, of Powell, TN, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Robert retired from the Department of Navy as the Director of The Naval Fuel Depot, Jacksonville, Fl. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of The Moose. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Babich; brother, Michael Babich; sister, Helen Manteufel. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Shirley Babick; sons, Robert P. (Ann) Babick Jr. William Sean (Traci) Babick and Philip Steven (Peggi) Babick; daughters, Leah (Scott) Boman and Heather (Anthony) Mitchell; grandchildren, Josie, Michael, Savannah, Sarah, Bobby III, Katie, Nicholas, Katarina and Carly; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, September 29, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Mark Kilbourne officiating. Family and friends will meet by 12:45 PM Monday at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service.
