Robert A. Mink

Robert A. Mink was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Bob will be remembered as a very exceptional person.       He was born October 31, 1927 in Knox County, Tennessee, the son of Robert & Frances Mink.      Bob was raised with three siblings. He had a sister, Ruth, and two brothers, Burl and Charles "Snooks".       Bob was married to wife and best friend, Virgie for 62 years.      Bob worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Bob was blessed with five children, Sons Mike, Jerry, and Ronnie and daughters Sharon and Martha.      Bob enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were fishing and traveling.       Bob passed away on October 1, 2012 at at home. He is survived by sons, Mike Mink and wife Judy, Jerry Mink and Ronnie Mink; daughters, Sharon Butcher and husband Ronald and Martha Boldin and husband Rusty, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and special friend, Kim McMillan. Services were held at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel in Knoxville, Tennessee.      Simply stated, Bob was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Bob leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Robert A. Mink.
