Rick V. Ellison

Rick V. Ellison went to be with his heavenly family and his Lord on February 8, 2024. He passed peacefully at UT Hospital with his sister Kim Ashley by his side.

Rick was loved and admired by so many including those that he worked with at St Mary's Hospital for over 35 years.He then went to UT Hospital where his 12 years of service his friend base grew, and many there also knew him as a truly wonderful man, and they, too called him friend and family. His kindness, his love, and his amazing soul could warm your heart. His sense of humor made him the most wonderful person to be around.

Preceded in death by his loving husband of 35 years, Dan Trenthan; Mother Joann Padgett Ellison; Brothers Harold Ellison, Jimmy Ellison; Sister, Mary Frank

Survived by his loving Sister Kim Ashley; Aunt, Ruby Dahney; Special Cousin Tim Steinki; several nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews; Special Friends, Jeff, Kathy, and Shaylee Pappas.

Family along with friends will pay respects on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.

In lieu of flowers family ask to plant flowers in Rick's honor.
