Richard John (Richie) Beeler, age 80, of Corryton, passed away December 20, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Beeler; devoted brother-in-law and sister-in law, Bill Julian and Brenda Dunn Julian. Richie was born November 27, 1945 and graduated from Gibbs High School in 1963, where he played multiple sports and was a star first baseman for the Gibbs High baseball team. After graduating from Carson-Newman College, he entered a career with Knox County Schools where he assisted Coach Ken Sparks in re-starting the Gibbs High football program in 1968. After leaving the school system, Richie worked in the business forms industry with Universal Forms & Systems for more than 25 years. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 62 years, Judy Julian Beeler; sons, Richie Beeler and Mark (Gail) Beeler; grandsons, Matthew (Kaylie) and Zachary Beeler; great grandson, Rowan Matthew Beeler. Friends may call at their convenience from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City. Family and friends will meet 12:15 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City to leave in procession for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Graveston Cemetery, Pastor Richie Beeler officiating. Pallbearers: Matthew Beeler, Zachary Beeler, Chris Julian, Kyle Beeler, Gary Butler. Honorary pallbearers will be his many beloved cousins.
