Richard Earl Lyons, Jr., age 74, of Rocky Top, TN, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at The Waters of Clinton. Richard was a veteran in the United States Army and was an over the road truck driver for over 49 years. He was a loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Lee Lyons.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jeanette Lyons; sister, Patricia Lovell; son, Richard Earl Lyons, II; sister, Billie. He is also survived by his best friend, Patrick Foxx of Mars Hill, NC.
A memorial service for Richard will be announced at a later date.
