Richard Lee Anderson

Richard Lee Anderson, age 73, of North Knoxville, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at Oak Ridge Medical Center. He had a passion for music and playing at his church Washington Pike United Methodist Church. Richard was an Eagle Scout and had a long involvement with the Boy Scouts. A member of the motorcycle group Riders for Christ and of the NRA. He was a loving father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his grandmother Dot Anderson; parents, James and Maebelle Anderson; brother, Steve Anderson; niece, Rachel (Daughtrey) Mallicoat. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Cristi Stevens (Robert) and Ashley Washam (Tyler); grandchildren, Bridgette, Braden, Tavin, and Talin; siblings, Brenda Vick and Becky Daughtrey; sister-in-law, Bonnie Anderson; a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4:00 pm with Rev.
