Richard Stanley Keller

Richard S. Keller “Pop Pop” age 83, of Pigeon Forge, TN, joined his loved ones in Heaven on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, then went on to work decades at Baptist Hospital as an x-ray tech until he retired. Richard was a kind, loving and gentle man. The best Pop Pop ever.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, George Keller; his son, Scott Keller; and best friend, Linda Guimes. He is survived by his sons, Bill (Teresa) Keller and Gary Whitice; daughters, Susan Barnes and Tammy Whitice; grandchildren, David Whitice, Will Barnes, Nikki Love, Hanna Kozdeba and Anna Barnes; and great-grandchildren, Briar Kozdeba and Dawson Love.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel; followed by a 7:00 PM funeral service officiated by Rev. Jason Turner. Friends and family will meet at 10:45 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Piney Grove Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
