Richard "Grumps" Steven Petree

Richard "Grumps" Steven Petree - age 74 of Fountain City, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024.  He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, an avid fisherman, and loved to "tinker" with automobiles.  Preceded in death by son, Steven D. Petree and father, Richard C. Petree. Survivors; wife, Missy Nash-Petree; sons, Jeff Petree (Robin) and Justin Nash; granddaughter, McKenzee Carr (Jackson); special grandson, Devin Mays; mother, Osa Petree; sister, Regina Ricker (Tom); brother, Curtis Petree (Joy); several nieces and nephews; Apollo his best friend and constant companion; and his Norris Lake Dock family at Beach Island Marina.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tennessee Cancer Center, the doctors, nurses and staff of their love and care.  Family and friends will meet 2:45 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service, Rev.
